There's still something screwy about posting to an FTP'ed category home page and it's calendar equivalent. For instance, at the time of this posting http://www.cs.strath.ac.uk/~dunc/weblog/2002/02/02.html and http://www.cs.strath.ac.uk/~dunc/weblog/index.html are different. The home page didn't register the change to the 'second test' message - the one before this one. This is one will/should be posted to both the Home Page, the work category home page, and the calendar (archive) page. Here goes. Update: I wonder if it's related to caching in the browser? 5:14:03 PM

This is a test of the 2nd beta of the upstream driver. Since I don't use FTP to mirror this site but do use FTP to mirror a category, is the passive vs active preference applicable there? Only one way to find out I guess... 12:31:16 AM
