The Mansion House, c. 1901-1910
This Edwardian picture (taken sometime between 1901 and 1910) shows the Victorian grandeur of the Mansion house up close. The house was extensively altered and enlarged under the ownership of the Crum family after 1852. It is not clear what the people in this photograph are doing, perhaps just enjoying a stroll in the grounds or perhaps they are part of a party using the Mansion House as a venue.
