Rouken Glen Dam, c.1915
Two boys lean against the railings of the footbridge with the dam in the background. The waterfall supplying the old mill was doubled in height in the early 1800s to form a reservoir to supply the Thornliebank Printworks. It was the destination of a popular walk for visitors to the park.
