Information for Reviewers

If you would like to review one of the available books, please contact the Book Review Editor, Ian Ruthven at Ian.Ruthven@cis.strath.ac.uk. An Information Retrieval book review is a scholarly review; as such, it should be a critical analysis of the work indicating its contribution to our discipline. A book review is typically four (4) to ten (10) double-spaced pages or approximatelly 1000-3000 words and should be completed within six (6) weeks of receiving the book and the Book Editor's confirmation that you may review it for Information Retrieval. When the review is completed, please submit a printed copy, an electronic copy on diskette, and a signed copy of the Springer Consent to Publish and Transfer of Copyright Form. Springer prefers that contributors use the Springer journal style for the electronic copy of the review, and will accept Word, WordPerfect, or ASCII (text only) documents. The review should be mailed directly to the Book Review Editor.

Information for Publishers

Publishers who have books that they wish to be considered for review should send two (2) copies directly to the Book Review Editor:
